"I transitioned from a previous role at Soddy-Daisy Health Care Center into the business office manager position in July of 2019. I had never had any business office experience in the medical field. I started with Soddy-Daisy working in the admissions office, so I had a brief understanding of how the insurance worked, but not in great detail. Coming into this position I was overwhelmed to say the least. I literally had no idea what I was doing. I had a limited amount of training before I converted from admissions to business office by the previous manager. I didn’t think there was any way I was going to be able to wrap my head around all that this position encompassed.

In the few short months that I have been in this role, I have learned so much. My regional support has been the best asset to me, and I am beyond thankful to have her as a resource. She answers any and all of the questions I have no matter how big or small.
