David Craig


David Craig began his healthcare career in the business office of the first long-term Acute Care Hospital in the country. Over the past 28 years, he has since gained considerable knowledge and experience in multiple skilled nursing and senior care companies.

He started as a licensed nursing home administrator while operating several facilities at once. Since then, David has held multi-facility management positions as Regional Director of Operation, Division Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, and President. His specialty is in identifying operational deficiencies and opportunities while acquiring a unique ability to lead business quality and financial improvements.

David holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in Finance from Eastern Kentucky University and a Master of Health Services Administration degree from The College of St. Francis. He is an avid Kentucky Wildcat fan who enjoys traveling with his wife Sherry, being a grandfather, and playing as much golf as possible.

Shelby Carden

Vice President of Accounting & Treasury

Shelby Carden

Shelby joined Grace Healthcare Support Services in 2015 as a Regional Financial Controller and subsequently has accepted the role overseeing Treasury and Accounts Payable for Grace Financial Services.

During her tenure, she has been exposed to a variety of business office processes including: financial statement reporting, reimbursement, treasury, accounts payable, and general accounting functions. Prior to assuming her current role, Shelby completed the back-office accounting for physician practices at an accounting firm for four years.

Shelby received both her Bachelor of Science and Master of Accountancy from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and is also a Certified Public Accountant. Away from work, she enjoys watching sports with her husband and spending time with her dog, Zoey. She has a passion for decorating her home and finds inspiration from creatives on HGTV.

Renae Skidmore

Vice President of Accounts Receivable & Business Office Support

Renae Skidmore

Renae ensures successful outcomes for accounts receivable and days sales outstanding for all clients. She develops methods of process improvement to expedite cash flow, which limits denials and lost revenue. Renae also interprets and communicates reporting trends, while working with internal and external vendors to make key decisions that ensure revenue cycle goals are achieved.

Prior to assuming her current role for Grace Financial Services, Renae began with Grace Healthcare Support Services in 2009 and has since served as a Business Office Manager and Regional Field Controller. Renae has over 23 years of experience in healthcare, including acute care hospitals and psychiatric hospitals, and 12 years focused in skilled nursing facilities. Her professional interests focus on identifying trends in reimbursement, finding and implementing best practices within the AR team, and empowering and supporting staff as they grow.

Renae holds a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management from Virginia Intermont College. In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors with family and friends, reading and volunteering in her local community.

Kelli Payne

Vice President of Financial Reporting & Payroll

Kelli Payne

Kelli provides leadership and strategic initiatives in the areas of financial reporting and payroll processing. She also oversees financial statement production, audit support, budget preparation, 401(k) management, and full-service payroll processing.

After transitioning from public accounting, Kelli has spent the past 13 years focusing on healthcare accounting; she specializes in skilled nursing and assisted living facilities, along with continuing care retirement communities. Kelli has a total of 15 years in the industry, five of which have been with Grace Healthcare Support Services.

Kelli received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accounting from Tennessee Technological University. She enjoys her time away from work serving as a soccer mom. In her additional free time, she enjoys traveling with her husband and two children as well as shopping, kayaking, camping, and spending time with friends and family.
